COVID 19 UPDATE
**To adhere to ADA and the CDC’s recommendations, Dr. Heather and the Orthodontic Team have implemented safety procedures to receive new patients and to best serve our existing patients during these challenging times. For your convenience, please watch this short video that outlines those safety procedures:
As a reminder, although we can celebrate a much reduced infection rate, it continues to be REQUIRED by the CDC that all individuals entering a health care facility wear a mask to cover their mouth and nose and allow proper social distancing. We thank you for your cooperation in helping us to continue to provide a safe environment to our patients of all ages and vacinne statuses by adhering to these recommendations. Thank you, and we look forward to seeing you.
WHAT TO EXPECT ON THE DAY OF YOUR APPOINTMENT
We ask that you alert us of your arrival by texting the office at 716-655-1000, or from the link in your reminder confirmation. Be sure to indicate the patient’s name and share any specific questions or concerns you may have.
On the morning of the appointment, fill out this brief COVID health questionnaire supplement: click here
Existing Patients: *Only need to answer the first COVID questionnaire section, signature and submit.
New Patients: We ask that in addition to the COVID questionnaire, that you complete the full health history, and related documentation. This will save you time upon your arrival and help us to most efficiently meet your needs at your consultation appointment.
The patient will be invited into the clinic via text as soon as the doctor is ready to see them. We ask that the patient wear a mask into the office. Unless necessary for young patients or disabled individuals needing assistance who may need one guest, patients should come in alone.
Front desk personnel will be available for processing payments over the phone and to answer any questions you may have regarding your child’s treatment, insurance, your patient account balance, or to schedule your next appointment.
Hand sanitizer will be provided to each patient upon entry.
The patient’s temperature will be taken with a touch-less forehead thermometer by a greeter.
NOTE: In the event that two consecutive temperature readings are over 100º F, or any questions to the health questionnaire are positive, we will ask that you postpone your appointment, and we will reschedule your visit to a convenient time after 14 days.
At the conclusion of the visit, a follow up appointment will be scheduled. If you determine that the date or time is not convenient to you, simply call the office at 716-655-1000 and we will be happy to rearrange the appointment to a more convenient time.
